High BP and muktavati

My age is 62 years. I am male. I have high BP problem since 10 years. My father has also Bp problem.I have no surgery.I am married.I am walking 30 minutes and 30 minutes yoga.I am taking allopathy medicine for BP. Current BP is 140/90. I have taken muktavati for 10 days (One tablet evening ) but after fifth days I experienced nasal congestion at 4 to 5 AM. It was severe. So I have dropped... Read More

I have been taking mukta vati tablets 1 in the morning and 1 at night for 3 months now. My Bp has come down from 160/90 to 130/75. But I have been facing problems with nasal congestion. When I reduce the dose of mukta vati my Bp increases. How can I get around the nasal congestion. Is there some other medication around it or should I stop taking mukta vati tablets?
