Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Hello, Piles or hemorrhoids refers to pile mass from anal region caused due to weaken anal muscles while the fissure refers to anal tract formed between skin and anal passage. Ayurvedic medicines recommended are as follows- 1.Divya triphala guggul- two tablets twice a day with luke warm water after meals and should be taken only for 4-5 months, prolonged use should be discouraged and it works excellent in bleeding piles and healing the fissure.. 2.Arshkuthar ras-250 mg with luke warm water twice a day after meals. 3.Kasisadi tailApply locally before and after defecation. 4At last the surgical intervention is done by procedure termed ksharsutra where the medicated thread helps in healing the tract formed. Avoid constipation and take plenty of fluids.

Piles is the inflammation of the anal veins and the pressure due to hard stools causes fissure. So medicines that soften the bowel movements will help to reduce piles and will aid for a better healing of the fissures.

Ayurvedic medicines like Ciruvilvadi kwath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Mahatiktaka ghrit +Agastya Rasayanam - 1 tsp after food twice daily and Divya ArshKalp Vati can be taken for a month and then reviewed. Arshonyt Ointment can be applied externally.

Include buttermilk, fiber, yam, prunes, figs, raisins, small onions and ginger. Reduce excess oil, sweet, canned foods, refined flour and carbonated beverages. Drink enough water and try to avoid constipation. Regular exercise and Yogasanas like Navasana, Vajrasana, Pavanamuktasana, Padmasana, Siddhasana, Paschimottasana and Marajaryasana will improve the digestion and the bowel movements.
