Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Divya ArshKalp Vati can be taken for fissure along with Gandharva hastadi Kvath- 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily for a month and then review. Fissure becomes a chronic problem when the tear is not healed completely. It persists when there is pressure in the anus due to hard stools or constipation. There will be spasm in the anal muscles which causes pain after a bowel movement. In that case, sitz bath or sitting in a bath tub with warm water will be beneficial. Include cooling foods like butter milk, water melon, fenu greek, tender coconut water and foods that regulate the bowel movement like prunes, raisins, yam and figs. Cooling foods will be beneficial when there is more heat or pitta. Fissure can be due to the increased Vata pitta. Yogasanas like trikonasana, pavanamuktasana, vajrasana, matyasana, bhujangasana, malasana and padmasana are beneficial.
