Hello,

Mallow is other known as blue malva. People has been using this herb since 8th century BC. Mallow comes from dry leaves and flowers of Malva sylvestris which belongs to Malvacea family.

Mallow comes as dried herb and fluid extract. It is said to take 5 gms of this dried herb twice daily and is a safe dose. It is used both as a food and medicine in europe. Research works has found that it is anti inflammatory and is of great use in treating respiratory tract infections , skin diseases and gastro intestinal disorders. It is seen to be of great use in healing disorders such as bronchitis, constipation, cough, laryngitis, teeth pain and vaginal irritations.

Currently no much side effect is seen observed with its use. However it is recommended to avoid its use during pregnancy and lactation to avoid complications.

Babaji, I am having problem of Hay fevers, as soon as Month of May starts I start getting hay fever.
