Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Taking Ayurvedic medicines like Gandharvahastadi kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Kaisora guggulu and Triphala Churna will help to heal the fissure faster after surgery.

Try to sit is warm water tub for 15minutes after going to the toilet and pat the area to dry. Try to place your feet in a stool while sitting in the toilet as it will be similar to a squatting position enabling easy bowel movements.

Include flax seeds, raisins, prunes, figs, yam, small onions, fiber, mung dal and complex carbohydrates. Reduce excess spicy foods, salt, sugar, oil, carbonated beverages and canned foods. Yogasanas like Marjaryasana, Trikonasana, Pavanmuktasana, Bhujangasana, Padahasthasana, Vajrasana and Utkadasna will be beneficial.

Hello, Any unnatural tract formed in body connecting the buttock region skin and anal canal. Ayurveda calls it bhagandar that is sanipataja nadivrana caused mainly by laceration or tear at guda region, bhaga and basti area, due to alleviation of all the doshas leading to pus filled abscess creating a tubular tract termed nadivarna in ayurveda. Ayurvedic medicines recommended are as follows- 1.Triphala guggul- 2 tablets thrice a day with luke warm water after meals. 2.Arogyavardhini vati- 2 tablets thrice a day with luke warm water after meals. 3.Mahatikta kshaya- 30ml in equal amount of water twice a day after meals. 4.Madhusnuhi rasayan- one tablespoon after meals twice a day. Along with internal administration of oral medicines an ayurvedic procedure called kshara sutra where an alkaline impregnated thread is inserted and knotted with in tubular tract. Due to deep penetration of alkali cauterization of pathological area occurs and thereby the canal is completely cured by fresh and normal skin over period of 6 months.
