Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Hello,

As mentioned, fibroids can appear again in majority cases. They are not to be worried and will shrink with time when diet is properly managed. There are several ayurvedic medicines which too are found very much helpful. Here are a few of my suggestions.

  • Ashokarishta - This is an ayurvedic medicine which is available as fermented product. It shall be taken at a dosage of 30 ml twice daily. It shall preferably be taken after food.

  • Jeerakarishta - This medicine available as a fermented product is an excellent uterine cleanser. This along with ashokarishta can easily bring down several abnormalities in uterus including shrinkage of fibroids. It shall be taken at a dosage of 30 ml twice daily after food.

  • Pushyanuga choorna - This is a classical ayurvedic medicine which is available in powder form. It shall be taken at a dosage of 1 tsp twice daily. It shall preferably be taken with milk after food.

  • Practice pranayama and yoga ritual suryanamaskara. Both these will give enough strength to both mind and body and will clear your uterine system as well.

Yes, it is normal for 10-50 people among 100 people to get the growth of fibroids again. It depends on the nature, size of the fibroids. Normally those which are big tend to grow again. You must discuss about the nature of the fibroid with your gynecologist as the genetic makeup in each fibroid varies.

But you can take medicines like Sukumara kasayam – 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, M2 Tone Syrup, Pusyanuga Churnam to prevent the further growth for 3months and then get reviewed.

Eat healthy food with more vegetables and fruits. Reduce oestrogen foods like broccoli, meat, mustard greens, soya. Include horse gram, papaya, sesame seeds, pine apple in little quantities and avoid them during your periods or when the bleeding is more. Complex carbohydrates and fiber helps to excrete excess oestrogen. Avoid excess oil, sugar, fatty foods and salt. Try to control your weight. Exercise regularly and do Yogasanas like ViparitaKarani, Baddhakonasana, Marichyasana, Bhujangasana, Paschimottasana, Padahastasana which stimulate the uterus for a healthy endometrium. Practise Pranayamam like Ujjayi, Kapala bhati, Bhrmari and Meditation to relax and a better oxygen supply to the tissues.
