Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

My son also suffered from similar problem. With every weather change he caught cough and it will at least last for a month. We showed it to pediatric and he prescribed some medicines and also asked for allergy blood test but there was no result.

Then I gave my son Asthomap tablets twice a day and with in few days he was relieved. From then onwards whenever he has cough I gave him Asthomap from Maharishi Ayurveda and he gets instant relief. It is a ayurvedic medicine and I did no see any side effects. You may try it for your son and it is also not costly. Just ask your chemist to get it for you or you can walk to nearest ayurvedic distributor.

Hello sir/ mam, Allergic bronchitis may be due to many allergens. It's attack mostly precipitate with seasonal change. Recurrent attacks lead to a low immunity. So you should go for a medicines which also increase her immunity. You should go for following medicines- 1. Sitopaladi churna (10 gm) + vasa churna (10 gm) + yashtimadhu churna (10 gm) + sutashekhar Vati (10 gm) + arogyavardhini Vati ( 10 gm) + sukshma triphala (10gm) - take half tablespoon of this mixture with honey two times a day after food. 2. [Vasavaleha] ( ) - one table spoon two times a day with warm water.

In diet avoid oily , sour food, cold food, cold water. Include warm water , ginger , ghee, green vegetables in food. Take 1/4th tablespoon of ginger paste and 1/4th tablespoon of honey everyday once. Give her milk with turmeric. Try to exclude the factor which precipitate her cough. After relieving symptoms give her some chavyanprash, dry fruits , to her diet which help to increase immunity.

Allergic bronchitis is caused due to severe allergies which gradually result in a reaction with the bronchial immune system. In allergic bronchitis, the symptoms usually flare up due to seasonal triggers or other allergens and the symptoms get controlled with the proper medicines quicker than the nonallergic bronchitis.

Medicines like Vasa aristam - 10ml after food twice daily, Talisapatradi churnam - 1tsp with honey thrice a day, Agastya Rasyanam - 1/2tsp with milk twice a day after food for a month and then review. Chyvana prash - 1tsp at bed time can be given for 3-4months to improve the immunity for resistance from infections.

Apply a pinch of Rasnadi churnam in the head after bath. Avoid head bath when the symptoms are severe. Avoid known allergens, cold food and cold breeze. Try to include spices like pepper, turmeric, ginger, garlic, tulsi leaves while cooking especially in foods like Kitchadi, soups and rasam.
