Anxiety Disorder and trying to conceive  this question feed

AnxietyGirl7, 9 March 2018 9:36

I was taking anti epileptic medicines since 2010 till 2017. My last seizure was in Dec, 2013 when I was off these medicines in between. I started having anxiety from 2016, when I consulted a psychiatrist, I was given some anti anxiety medicines and I was told it could be a side effect of the anti epilepsy medicines. hence, the doctor gradually reduced my anti epilepsy medicines and in nov, 2017, all my medicines were stopped with the help of my doctor.

However, for the past two months, I am again suffering from anxiety, sometimes travel anxiety and sometimes social anxiety. I have been trying to conceive for the last three months but have been unsuccessful. This aggravates my anxiety even further.

I have been doing yoga, and sudarshan kriya from past two months now, but I still feel afraid to go out alone and get anxious. I am also taking ashwagandha, brahmi and shatavari once a day but again I feel anxious.

Please let me know how can I be cured. It is affecting my daily life, I am unable to go to office, and I have immense pressure to conceive as well.

Doctor's Ayurvedic Advice:-

Stress is a major factor that affects the daily life. In that case, Ayurvedic treatments like Shirodhara and oil massages will be beneficial. Please let me know about the investigation reports if you have. Ayurvedic medicines like Sukumara kvath - 15ml with 60ml of warm water before food twice daily, Satavari can be taken for a month and then reviewed to improve the chance to conceive by nourishing the quality of the eggs. Include black gram, sesame, olive oil, figs, complex carbohydrates, dark chocolate, garlic, spinach, pomegranate, avocados, cinnamon, ghee and pomegranate. Reduce excess sweet, caffeine, canned foods, fried foods, salt and refined flour. Yogasanas like Marjaryasana, Sarvangasana, Sirsasana, Halasana, siddhasana, Padmasana, meditation and pranayamam will be beneficial.
